A Halloween costume decider.
  • 400 Costumes to Die For
  • 400 Costumes to Die For was a self-promotional piece for GS Design. Designed to help recipients decide what to be for Halloween, the package consisted of two custom-made, 20-sided dice – one with 20 modifiers, the other with 20 nouns – that together offered 400 possible original costume combinations. (Zombie Elvis, Kung-fu Jesus, M.C. Mollusk, etc.) The dice were housed inside a tube with a lid that rotated to line up heads on different bodies. I did all of the illustrations and type by hand. Writer, Chuck Nevsimal.

Featured in the HOW Self-Promotional Annual.

  • We also created a mobile app version with spinners instead of dice.
